How do I change a serving size?

Pick a common serving size or enter your exact amount before you log.

When you add a food in the meal builder, a serving selector appears so you can pick the right amount before adding it to your meal. CarbiGo tries to match your serving as closely as possible.

Steps

  1. When you find a food and tap the + button next to it, the serving selector appears.

  2. You'll see a list of common serving sizes for that food (e.g., "1 medium," "1 cup," "100g").

  3. Scroll through the options and tap the one that matches what you ate.

  4. (Optional) If you need a custom amount, tap the text field or the up/down arrows to adjust the number.

  5. Tap Add to [Meal] to log it.

Good to know

  • Serving sizes vary by food. A "medium" apple is different from a "medium" orange, and CarbiGo accounts for that.

  • If the serving options don't match what you ate, tap the text field and enter a custom amount.

  • You can log in grams (100g), ounces (2.5oz), or units (1 banana, 1 slice, 1 cup) β€” just type what makes sense.

  • If you adjust the amount after selecting a serving, the nutrition numbers update automatically.
