CarbiGo is a completely new app β not a rebrand or update of Carb Manager. While both apps help you track nutrition, CarbiGo was built from the ground up with a focus on speed, accuracy, and modern AI-powered logging.
Key differences
Speed: CarbiGo is designed for fast logging. Photo-to-log, describe-to-log, and smart search get your meals tracked in seconds rather than minutes.
Data quality: CarbiGo uses paid, professional nutritional databases with extended sugar alcohol data β not user-submitted entries. This means more accurate macro counts, especially for Net Carbs.
AI-powered logging: Snap a photo of your plate or just describe what you ate in plain language. CarbiGo's AI identifies the food and estimates the nutrition for you.
Net Carbs by default: CarbiGo calculates and displays Net Carbs for all users and all diet types, not just keto.
Modern diet plans: Choose from six diet types (keto, low-carb, balanced, low-fat, high-protein, zone) or customize your own macros. Your plan is built from your TDEE, goal weight, and preferred diet type, with an EWMA-based weight trend to smooth out daily fluctuations.
Privacy first: Your data stays private and secure. You're in full control and can delete your account and all data at any time.
Good to know
CarbiGo is a separate app with its own account. Your Carb Manager data doesn't transfer over.
If you're used to Carb Manager, the core experience of logging food and tracking macros will feel familiar β it's just faster and more accurate.
