CarbiGo offers six popular diet plans, each with a different macro split based on your goals. You can choose one during onboarding, or change it anytime.

The six diet types

  1. Keto — High fat, low carbs. Targets: 70% fat, 25% protein, 5% carbs. Best for rapid fat loss or steady low-carb living.

  2. Low-Carb — Moderate carbs, higher protein. Targets: 40% fat, 40% protein, 20% carbs. Balanced approach for steady weight loss.

  3. Balanced — Even split across all macros. Targets: 33% fat, 33% protein, 33% carbs. Works for most people and most goals.

  4. Low-Fat — Lower fat, higher carbs. Targets: 20% fat, 30% protein, 50% carbs. Good if you prefer more carbs.

  5. High-Protein — Prioritizes protein for muscle building. Targets: 30% fat, 50% protein, 20% carbs. Best for strength training and muscle gain.

  6. Zone — Balanced with a slight protein emphasis. Targets: 30% fat, 40% protein, 30% carbs. Popular with athletes.

How to change your diet type

  1. Go to Profile (bottom right).

  2. Tap Diet & Goals or Nutrition Settings.

  3. Select a new diet type.

  4. CarbiGo will recalculate your daily macro targets based on your calorie goal and the new plan.

  5. Your daily log will update to show the new targets.

Good to know

  • Switching plans is instant — there's no penalty or reset.

  • Your logged food history stays the same when you switch.

  • You can also customize your own macro splits if none of these plans fit your goals exactly.
