You set your weight goal during onboarding, and you can update it anytime using the diet plan wizard in your profile. CarbiGo uses your goal to calculate the right calorie deficit (or surplus) for your diet plan.
Steps
Open the diet plan wizard from your profile or diet plan settings.
Update your Goal Weight.
You can also adjust your weight change rate β how quickly you want to reach your goal. CarbiGo recommends a safe rate based on your body weight (the default is about 2% of body weight per month for weight loss).
Your daily calorie and macro targets will recalculate automatically.
Good to know
CarbiGo recommends staying within a safe range for weight change. For weight loss, the recommended maximum is about 3% of body weight per month.
Your rate of change is percentage-based, so it scales with your weight β someone at 200 lbs will have different weekly targets than someone at 150 lbs.
As your trend weight changes over time, CarbiGo automatically adjusts your targets to keep you on track. You don't need to manually update anything.
