CarbiGo syncs your steps and workouts from Apple Health (iPhone) or Google Health Connect (Android). Your wearable or fitness device (Garmin, Oura, Apple Watch, Fitbit, Pixel Watch, Strava, etc.) syncs to your phone's health app, and CarbiGo reads the data from there.
How it works
Steps: Your daily step count syncs automatically. You can optionally set a daily step goal in Feature Settings.
Workouts: Exercise sessions recorded by your device, smartwatch, or fitness apps (like running, cycling, strength training) sync to CarbiGo.
When you first connect your health app, CarbiGo pulls up to 30 days of historical step and workout data. After that, new activity syncs automatically.
Managing steps and workouts
Go to Feature Settings in your profile. Both Steps and Workouts can be toggled on or off β if you turn a feature off, it won't appear on your progress pages and CarbiGo won't request data for it.
Each feature shows its data source status, including whether it's connected, any sync or permission issues, and when data was last retrieved. Tap Manage to view or update your device permissions for that data type.
Good to know
CarbiGo reads your activity data β it doesn't write workout data back to your health app.
If your steps or workouts aren't showing up, first check that the feature is toggled on in Feature Settings, then check the data source status for any permission issues.
